White Chocolate Popcorn {snack size recipe}

One Christmas while I was in high school a neighbor brought over some popcorn as a gift.  It was soo good, but I couldn't figure out why.  The next time I saw them I asked what was on the popcorn.  The answer...white chocolate.  No wonder it was so good! I don't think it's possible to overestimate my love for white chocolate.  It is delicious, am I right?  I'm totally right.  It was just such a totally unexpected flavor on popcorn that I couldn't place it.

Since then I've made White Chocolate Popcorn many many times.  It's so easy that it makes the perfect movie snack.  It only takes a one or two minutes more than normal popcorn.

I've never followed a recipe, but I know a lot of you are recipe people so I guesstimated the amounts that I use to make a quick snack for a movie night {most of the recipes online are all for HUGE batches - I love this stuff, but 8 cups of it is a little excessive most of the time }.

White Chocolate Popcorn

1 bag microwave popcorn - butter flavor
3/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup mix-ins (m&m's, craisins, nuts, ect)

1. Pop the popcorn and put into a large bowl.  Try not to let any un-popped kernels into the bowl.
2. Toss the mix-ins with the popcorn.
3. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave for 1-1.5 minutes or until melted stirring every 15 seconds or so.
4. Pour melted chocolate onto popcorn then stir until all the kernels are coated.
5. Devour
