7.5 years ago I married the best guy on earth {after only a 5 month courtship - when I see something I like I take it before someone else can ;) }. That's about the time I picked up the "Dear."

5.5 years ago I became a mom to our cute little Abigail.

4.5 years ago we decided to add another Little to our family.  That's when our journey with secondary infertility, pregnancy loss and adoption began.

5 months ago we found out that I was pregnant! After a few months of hesitant excitement we were officially taken off "high risk," the pregnancy was declared viable and found out it would be a Little Mr. joining our family in June!

5 years ago I started blogging as a way to distract myself from the heartache of our losses. The online creative world was {and still is} fascinating to me.  I'm in awe every single day at the talent people have.  I wanted to share it and join in with my own feeble attempts at creating.

My first blog, So You Think You're Crafty, took off better than I would have ever thought.  I loved doing that until I realized that I needed to be putting my focus other places.  So I just recently passed on the reins to someone that can take better care of it than I can.  Now I get to focus on my family, this little blog and my handmade shop.

We're now living in the Raleigh NC area where it's almost always warm and I'm near my sister!
